A Message from “Recovery Hope”

Members and Friends of BEP,

We are excited to introduce to you another resource in our community to help with the battle of Stigma of Mental Illness. RecoveryHope.org was started by Caleb and Molly Anderson.
After Caleb was admitted to treatment for opiate addiction, Molly made it her mission to learn more about how to help him fight his battles and support him in his recovery. Together, they now help other couples and individuals by providing research and resources regarding the many challenges of overcoming drug and alcohol addictions.

Here is the first submission by Molly to our blog. Please feel free to contact
Molly directly if you have any questions about RecoveryHope. I hope this will encourage other friends and members of BEP to submit items for our blog.

Hi,

Having had personal experience with addiction, I’ve seen how important it is to address mental health issues before they take control. I truly believe it’s lifesaving to nurture our innermost selves before mental health conditions become debilitating, whether it’s something as
common as stress and anger or something as complex as depression or suicidal thoughts.

As part of my work with Recovery Hope, I’m sending BEP some articles that offer insight and support for those who may be struggling. Based on the information on your webpage, it seems BEP is just as aware as we are of how important it is for people to care for their emotional wellbeing.
